Phormium ‘Jester’ is a grass-like perennial with certain exotic appeal. The foliage fans out from the base of the plant and creates a good amount of volume. Its considered relatively hardy despite its exotic appeal although frost protection wouldnt go amiss!
This particular variety has unusual bright red striped foliage with even more unusual vibrant green margins for a brilliant show-stopping contrast.
